At the request of Patriam, Semrén & Månsson has created 36 well-designed apartment, placed on a natural hillside in the middle of the residential district Stocksund, north of Stockholm.
The two mirroring buildings are covered in grayish green slate which shades differ depending on weather, light and season. The railings and window sashes create a contrast with a warm, bronzy color that matches the shifting colors of the façade. The spacious stairway receives plenty of daylight, and the central staircase invites to activity and interaction between neighbours.
The project contains a variety of residences, ranging from small and space-efficient 49 square meter one-bedroom apartments to grand, spacious 100-133 square meter three- and four bedroom apartments. The floor plans are designed to create an interaction between open social spaces and separated private rooms. Every apartment has its own unique details. One common terrace per building complements the apartments' private terraces and patios, and the residents also have access to a wine cellar, gym, and indoor parking.
In 2018 the project received a preliminary certification according to Miljöbyggnad 'Gold', from the Swedish Green Building Council, which guarantees low energy consumption, an excellent indoor climate, and sustainable materials.
